Our two venues, Thorpeness Hotel and Thorpeness Country Club, can offer couples flexible and exciting options for their perfect wedding ceremony and reception.
Thorpeness is a magical location for your wedding, just a pebble's throw from the beach. Hosting your special day here will ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for both you and your guests, and will be a day that you will remember for many years to come.
You may wish to give your wedding a seaside theme, or simply opt for something traditional, the choice is yours. We offer a selection of menus and dishes, all of which are individually priced, allowing you the flexibility to create a bespoke menu and package to suit your personal requirements.
Thorpeness Country Club
This wonderful venue overlooking the beach at Thorpeness accomodates up to 120 guests and is licensed for wedding ceremonies. Your wedding breakfast or drinks reception can be served outside in the garden adjacent to the beach or in the comfort of the Country Club. For larger weddings, we can arrange for a marquee in the Country Club grounds.

For smaller intimate weddings of up to fourty guests, the Lakeside Room at Thorpeness Hotel is set in a peaceful location overlooking the gardens and Meare.
The hotel's stylish restaurant is also available for day time receptions for up to eighty guests.
