Shorthose Russell 20 years

This year is our 20th anniversary and we celebrated in true Shorthose Russell style.

Every year, for one day, we take a step back from work and have an away day full of team building, fun and lots of laughter.

This year we headed over to Macarons & More cookery school for some light hearted competitive baking (competitions are taken very seriously in this office). This resulted in some great and some questionable macrons and a taste test by Tim Kinnaird and his team. Ania became the proud all round winner with some delicious orange and mandarin flavour macarons. Coming to stores soon!

After a light lunch (including giant pork pies, quiche and brownies to die for) we got to grips with wall to wall trampolines at High Altitude which was entertaining to say the least. Racing, flips and dodgeball were the main activities of the day. Needless to say we all felt the effects the next day.

To wind down the day we moved on to our own taste testing at Adnams Tasting Room, obviously this was well received by all. You’ll never catch a team member turning down free booze.

And finally we shuffled down the road feeling very merry about the whole day to The Georgian Town House for a BBQ feast with celebratory birthday cake, lots and lots of it!
