As a leading brand, Hoseasons demand a good understanding of their product, first class media contacts and, most importantly, senior, experienced people working on the account on a day-to-day basis. That’s why they work with the PR team at Shorthose Russell. We set up a bespoke in-house press office and launched all their holiday brochures to national and regional newspapers, magazines and TV and radio stations.
We then developed a series of creative feature ideas for the key national titles to accompany a programme of themed and last minute news releases. In addition, a trade campaign was also developed based around raising awareness of the Hoseasons brand and establishing them as a leading supporter of travel agents in the UK.
The 30 press trips Shorthose Russell were set as an initial target reached 60+ within the first 12 months of our involvement - with over 20 national press visits. Our work for Hoseasons also achieved a Chartered Institute of Public Relations award for best consumer PR campaign 2007.
