We’re on the lookout for a fast-thinking, results-driven, client-wowing Account Director to join our expanding PR team and play an active role in the growth and development of the agency. 

Always looking for an opportunity to impress,  your confident, front-foot approach will regularly exceed client expectations, resulting in award-winning work along the way. 

Excited to work for an agency with a portfolio of leading UK travel and hospitality brands, including Hoseasons,, Awaze, Hotel du Vin, Malmaison and Frasers Hospitality, you’ll have demonstrable travel PR experience, including media and influencer relations. 

You’ll also be equally at home writing an insight-based, 500-word thought leadership piece, as developing a PR campaign to highlight a new brand partnership. 

A collaborative mindset and bags of ideas are also a must for this key agency role.

Role Requirements

  • Leading, directing, managing and delivering work on specified PR accounts and acting as the senior client contact
  • Developing and delivering PR strategies and plans for those clients, whilst planning and monitoring workflow for colleagues
  • Developing and delivering work that achieves client objectives while meeting and exceeding their expectations
  • Leading on timely and effective measurement and reporting for those clients
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop the agency’s PR offering (including digital PR) in line with the SRL Way
  • Coming up with creative content ideas and collaborating with colleagues across the agency to bring those ideas to life and achieve desired outcomes
  • Working closely with colleagues to add value to their own projects for the benefit of clients and the agency
  • Proactively seeking to grow income from existing clients by identifying new business opportunities and collaborating with colleagues to upsell agency services
  • Taking and responding to new business briefs, while leading on /contributing to specified pitches and proposals
  • Using strong editorial skillset to ensure high standards of writing, grammar and presentation in your own work and that of others
  • Motivating, educating and supporting colleagues (as appropriate)
  • Responsibility for staying on top of industry and sector developments to ensure our services stay as competitive and current as possible
  • Proactively researching, flagging and taking part in relevant training opportunities
  • Contributing to effective internal communications
  • Contributing to the agency’s own marketing / communications activity
  • Being aware of and following agency processes and procedures
  • Developing, implementing and managing best practice processes to ensure optimal delivery of agency services
  • Managing own workload
  • Timely and accurate billing of clients (as appropriate)
  • Completing daily timesheets
