After a tiny stint client-side at the beginning of her career, Petra has been an account handler for much longer than she’d care to share. It’s been all agency since with a decade in London working for clients such as Sun Alliance Insurance, Britvic, Citroën and World Wildlife Fund.
‘Marry me, move to Norfolk and live in a village without street lighting’ said her fiancé, and so she joined The Russell Organisation (TRO), working on the Volvo account. After hopping over to Shorthose Russell it’s been all about a new mix of clients –The TA Hotel Collection, Holkham, Mills & Reeve, Lovewell Blake, Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Museums Service. She’s also been heading west for years, working for the National Trust in Swindon and the Bath Museums Partnership. Her main thing is brand development, design and copywriting in the context of strategic communications.
Petra (‘I should have trained as a designer’) can often be found in the studio seeking to manipulate the designers. She likes her funny family, parties in the garden, buying nice stuff, Scandi noir and goes through intense bouts of baking when she’s thinking about applying for Great British Bake-Off.
