A powerful brand statement for one of the UK’s largest retailers.
Next work hard to pursue a code of ethical standards throughout its global supply chain, seeking to ensure the integrity of any product carrying the Next trademark and the welfare of all workers involved.
They asked us to design a logo to communicate their dedication to these standards, one that was flexible enough to work across multiple applications.
Working closely with the marketing team at Next, a range of designs were developed, most of them hand drawn responses, to underpin the very human message behind the mark. A handful of solutions were then developed further with the final mark being chosen at board level.
The logo has been implemented across the following applications:
- Carrier bags
- Mailing bags
- Swing tickets
- In-store POS and signage
- Next Directory
