Select Appointments approached us whilst they were refreshing their logo to create a new mobile-first website with API integration. The aim was an online presence which accurately reflected the new brand and established Select as professional, modern, approachable and trustworthy.
The existing website offered a cluttered and confusing user experience, so the focus of the design was to clean everything up, improve navigational structure, and put the user first.
Planning & Designs
As the project had a tight timeline, it was especially important to be on same page from the outset. We spent time talking through the project with Select, planning out structure and establishing a hierarchy.
After creating our initial designs, we presented them as an interactive digital prototype so Select could see exactly how the website would come together.
Build & Go Live
By building the new website on WordPress, we gave control and flexibility back to the client – something which their existing CMS didn’t offer. We made sure the website was mobile friendly, with a focus on UX and best SEO practises.
select.co.uk features clean bespoke designs with accents in their brand colours. By incorporating a page builder, Select are able to style and create pages based on a range of custom components.
The site pulls job listings from Select’s specialist recruitment database through an integrated API. Job seekers can search and filter by role, location and salary helping them find their perfect role. With news and advice sections, the site is also a hub of information.
